Tue, 25 Mar 2008 01:06:04 -0700 (PDT)ospirgeorge@yahoo.com Dear Mr. Ospir, risks of surgery are particularily the injury of cranial nerves, i.e. the facial nerve and the nerves responsible for swallowing. There is only a small risk of life-threatening complications, the rate is in any case much lower compared with the spontaneous course of the disease. We would expect that it is possible to remove the tumor completely without severe and permanent cranial nerve symptoms. For all administrative questions please contact Mrs. Mueller, ++49 511 270 92 157 or pm.international@ini-hannover.de.Kind regards, Dr.T.Brinker
